Using our software implementation and your existing PC, Athena Interactive Video Conferencing offers the opportunity for seamless two-way and multi-party video conferencing over intranet and broadband networks. Athena Interactive Video Conferencing offers excellent quality video conferencing without the need for an expensive Multi-Party Conference Bridge (MCU) for high bandwidth networks.

Athena Interactive Video Conferencing complies with the latest International Telecommunications Union (ITU) standards and applies high-quality compression techniques using our own wavelet compression algorithm, enabling even lower bandwidth utilization. Even at speeds of 128 Kbps, you can expect excellent quality.

The Athena Interactive Video Conference software is licensed per user, that is each user (PC) that wishes to participate in a video interactive call will require a licensed copy of the video software to be installed on their computer.  The three types of licenses available are 2 way, 5 way and 8 way conferencing.  

If for example a client wishes to conference in 7 additional individuals on a single call, the purchase of 8 licenses of the Enterprise version of the software will be required. Each user participating in the conference call will require the 8 way conferencing (Enterprise version) software to be installed on their computer. Licenses can be leased on a monthly basis or a permanent license can be purchased.
